Can the companion sticker be used outside of Quebec?
The Tourist and Leisure Companion Sticker (TLCS) is earmarked for expansion.
These last months, a close cooperation has been established among French organizations.
Zone Loisir Montérégie and its partners verily believe
that the program meets the legitimate needs of people with a disability or mental
illness, whatever their place of residence. The program is a tradable initiative
québécoise, reflecting the know-how of Zone Loisir Montérégie
across the Atlantic, but all the more so as it has a broadening effect for Quebec
companion sticker owners who will be entitled to use it in France. Reciprocity
has been anticipated for the residents of France travelling to Quebec and will
enable members of both communities to strengthen their relationships.
We are also in contact with the Active Living Alliance for Canadians with a
Disability to find both sources of financing and partners who will develop the
program throughout other Canadian provinces. The program is therefore of Quebec,
Canadian and even international scope.

provinces/regions the companion sticker is currently accepted.
