Zone Loisir Montérégie
Zone Loisir Montérégie (ZLM) is a non-profit organization
originating from the merging of the three former Associations régionales
pour le loisir des personnes handicapées (ARLPH) based in Montérégie.
Member of the Association québécoiose pour le loisir des personnes
handicapées, Zone Loisir Montérégie is recognized,
in its region, as the ideal contact with regard to recreation for persons with
disabilities.
Zone Loisir Montérégie actively supports local organizations
committed to persons with disabilities and manages several programs, such as
the Programme d’aide en loisir and the Programme d’accompagnement
en loisir. Moreover, Zone Loisir Montérégie assists
in the implementation and export of pioneering initiatives concerned with recreation
and supports the integration of persons with disabilities in their community.
Furthermore, ZLM contributes to the expansion of networks of advocates for the
upkeep and betterment of the living situation of persons with disabilities,
at the local, national, and even international levels.
